Multidisciplinary Artist & Designer

Giorgia Tessarollo (San Marino, 2001) works at the intersection of art and fashion, developing a practice that places the feminine at its center as a critical and generative space. Through textile practices, painting, performance, and digital tools, the artist critically examines systems of production, consumption, and value.

Her research focuses on sustainability and overproduction, questioning the habits and belief systems that govern contemporary consumption, particularly within the fashion industry. Through the use of recycled and eco-sustainable materials, Tessarollo challenges the logic of disposability, proposing alternative modes of production that emphasize care and responsibility.

Technology plays a central role in her practice. Through 3D design and digital experimentation, the artist investigates innovation not as an end in itself or as mere acceleration, but as a space for rethinking processes, materials, and modes of beneficial transformation. Digital tools thus become a means to explore how technological development can be oriented toward new forms of conscious and ethically responsible existence.

Tessarollo’s work also addresses the feminine as a space of resistance and redefinition, employing techniques traditionally associated with femininity—such as sewing and textile work—to subvert historically entrenched hierarchies between art, craft, and fashion. Her practice exists between body and garment, matter and meaning, reinterpreting forms and narratives shaped by the silencing of the feminine and transforming them into spaces of openness, care, and the affirmation of an active and constructive perspective.
